Ray Disney - composer, producer, arranger, performer and President of Sonority Records, Inc.
With over 35 years of experience, Ray Disney has had a long, successful career of various accomplishments in the field of music. A trumpet player conversant with jazz, classical, pop, & R & B styles. Graduated in 1975 from Towson University in Baltimore, MD with a B.S. in Music Performance, studying jazz improvisation and arranging with the world-renowned composer, Hank Levy.
From 1975 - 1978 and 1997 - 2003 Ray performed with the legendary pop show band from Baltimore, "The Admirals", touring the U.S. and Canada.
In 1985, he produced his first album, "Lonely Night".
In 1987, he was the contractor and conductor of an orchestra tour for the international singer from Lebanon, Fayrouz. The tour consisted of performances at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington DC, Lincoln Center in New York, Wang Center in Boston, and Ford Auditorium in Detroit.
In 1991, he was the music coordinator for Wolftrap's 20th Anniversary Gala (PBS).
In 1997, produced, arranged, and orchestrated, "Revelation: The Unveiling" (a Musical/Opera based on the Book of Revelations), Peter Hadeed, composer. (Excerpt: "New Heaven and Earth")
For the last 20 years, Ray has been active producing, composing, and arranging film scores, jingles, and Radio/TV Spots. Among the clients for this work are: The National Institutes of Health, IBM, CNN, U.S.I.A., GTSI, The Learning Channel, U.S. Naval Academy, and many others.
With his own full-service recording studio, digital audio editing and sound design is a specialty, as well as master quality song demos of your original compositions.
